The release of the 933 marked a massive milestone for both Reynolds' legendary four-decade career and New Balance’s rapidly growing Numeric division. Designed from scratch under Reynolds’ meticulous direction, the silhouette delivers a clean merge between classic 99X runner DNA—drawing clear inspiration from icons like the 993 and 990v6—and skate durability.

What makes the 933 such a standout is its ability to blend the coveted aesthetic of a lifestyle pigskin runner with tank-like construction. Not to mention the lifestyle-friendly colorway like the Quicksand/Sea Salt arrangement.

The shoe's upper features layered panels of suede and mesh that mimic the classic window-pane architecture of New Balance's flagship running archive. Reinforced leather overlays wrap high-wear zones, while a curved toe cap provides necessary resistance against griptape.

The midsole houses responsive ABZORB cushioning to absorb harsh landings, while a heavy-duty N-Durance® rubber outsole delivers maximum grip and board feel. 

The real kicker, though: All of this skate-ready tech is wrapped in a creamy, neutral colorway which wouldn’t feel out of place in one of New Balance’s premium Made in USA or UK lines.
