After dropping its Adapt BB 2.0 last month, Nike could soon be releasing the Adapt LE 01, an Air Max-inspired shoe featuring the same auto-lacing technology. Thanks to notorious early bird Yankeekicks, we’re now able to get a detailed look at the rumored release.

The Adapt LE 01 features a Max Air sole unit that looks like a super-chunky version of the Air Max 90’s signature tooling. The sneaker also comes with a lightweight, grey mesh upper as well as Nike’s self-lacing system.

The E.A.R.L. technology looks similar in design to the Nike Mag from 1989’s Back to the Future 2, featuring “Power Laces” that run straight across the throat of the shoe. It will also be the first time that Max Air has been used in a self-lacing sneaker.

So far, only the above leaked images exist, however, the model is rumored to be dropping March 27, in celebration of Air Max Day.

Take a closer look at the sneaker below, and stay tuned for more updates.
