Nike’s Air Force 1 has worn countless identities over the years, but the “Glam Rock” pack might be one of the shoe’s flashiest turns yet. The two-pair release leans fully into glamour, giving one of Nike’s most ubiquitous sneakers a high-shine update without losing its footing.

Glam rock in the early 1970s was defined by controlled excess. Glitter, platform boots, sharp tailoring, and confidence pushed just far enough to feel theatrical but intentional.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Glam Rock” pack taps into that same energy, applying it to the silhouette’s familiar, 40-year-old basketball shape.

Both pairs start with black leather uppers, then split personalities. One leans loud, layering bronze and gold metallic panels with purple Swooshes for maximum stage presence.

The other takes a darker route, pairing gunmetal and silver finishes with white accents for a sharper, more restrained take on glam.

Details keep the execution grounded. Metallic lace dubraes add a jewelry-like touch, while tonal soles and minimal branding prevent the shoes from tipping into costume territory. It’s more styled than flashy, letting materials and contrast do the work.

Set to arrive on Nike’s website in 2026 for $130, the “Glam Rock” Air Force 1s join a long lineage of luxe remakes and material-driven experiments. Decades in, the Air Force 1 is still finding new phases, and apparently, it hasn’t missed its glam era yet.
