Few Jumpman silhouettes have as much lifestyle appeal as the Jordan 4, but that wasn’t enough for Nike. Enter, the Air Jordan 4 RM. RM stands for Restomod, which in Nike’s words is a ‘functional reimagining’ of iconic silhouettes to align them with active lifestyles.

Of course, it helps that BMX icon Nigel Sylvester helped launch the silhouette with his own version, but the Nike Air Jordan 4 RM has done what many of Nike’s contemporary non-Retro releases can’t do and found a real foothold in the brand’s collection.

It tracks, though. With the DNA of the fan-favorite Jordan 4 to play with, this silhouette couldn’t go far wrong. Chopped at the ankle, the low-top version retains much of the design language that made its predecessor so wearable.

To add to this versatility, Nike just dropped the Air Jordan 4 RM in Cool Grey. For the Nike heads, this color palette will pique attention after a slew of sought-after drops dressed in the Cool Grey color.

A combination of leather, suede and mesh make up the upper in a layered selection of Cool Grey, Light Smoke Grey, and Sail. Adding depth, this mixture keeps things very toned-down and wearable.

Added atop a black sole unit, the shoe is rooted in a sense of utility and everyday versatility. But don’t overlook the flash of red to the air bubble to bring a subtle pop of color. Priced at $155, the skate-coded Nike Air Jordan 4 RM Cool Grey is slated for release in the first half of 2026.

The fact that the Nike Air Jordan 4 RM is deemed worthy of a Cool Grey colorway suggests that Nike recognizes the silhouette’s popularity. The Jordan 4 RM is here to stay, and rightly so.
