It feels like 1995 all over again as Nike continues to go all in on its Air Max 95 sneaker. In addition to serving up fresh flavors, Nike is also running back the classics, like the model's original colorways. Speaking of which, the OG "Slate" pairs are next up.

Yes, Nike has brought back the Air Max 95 "Slate" sneaker in Big Bubble fashion. It stays faithful to the original design but with even chunkier soles, which is a great (the Big Bubble look helps restore that original AM95 feeling).

Nike again stacks those familiar blue suede layers on the upper, while the embroidered green Swoosh returns to the side ankle. The Air Units are also green again. Basically, the "Slate" Air Maxes are back serving up oceanic realness.

When the Air Max 95 was born, it would make its mark in four game-changing colorways, including "Neon," "Grape," "Comet Red," and "Slate." Many have already returned to the market recently. The "Neon" pairs are basically on their their fifth life at this point, having enjoyed several restocks plus some solid impersonations.

Now, Nike's "Lake Blue/French Blue" Air Max sneaker is ready to start over with a clean "slate."

It's scheduled to drop on Nike's SNKRS app for $190 on May 7. Interestingly, it will release the same week as another original, the "Comet Red" Air Maxes, which drop on May 8.
