As much as Nike appreciates its beloved classics, the brand quite literally lives in the future, constantly thinking of its next great innovative shoe.

Nike's Air Max Dn sneaker launched earlier this year as the label's most advanced Air Max sneaker yet. The debut DN isn't even a year old, but Nike already has its successor, the Air Max DN8.

The new Air Max DN8 sneaker isn't even out yet, but it's already bringing the heat with solid colorways (lots of Nike Air, too).

Following its casual on-foot debut, retailer images of the Air Max DN8 revealed the new shoe in the classic "Bred" colorway. The traditional Black and University Red shades topped the new high-tech design, resulting in a little old and a little newness.

The Nike Air Max DN8 is also set to release in a creamy "Khaki" colorway, a more earthy option for subtle sneakerheads. However, the shoe itself is far from subtle.

The Nike Air Max DN8 marks the next step in the iconic Air journey. Whereas the previous model featured the new Dynamic Air in just its heels, the DN8 offers an entire sole of it. Eight chambers of the new game-changing Air technology make up this new Air Max sneaker, providing up two times as much Dynamic Air cushioning than the Air Max Dn.

The resulting design is super futuristic, echoing some of today's most popular running shoe designs, like On's Cloudmonster series.

The Nike Air Max DN8 is expected to drop on March 26, 2025, Nike's famous Air Max Day. The sneakerhead-friendly holiday often includes fresh Air Max drops, and all-new Air Max launches.

It looks like Air Max Day 2025 will be Air Max DN8 Day.
