The Nike Air Max Phenomena loafer is embracing its sneaker side.

The hybrid model, dreamed up by the Serena Williams Design Crew, has returned in a fresh "Wolf Grey" colorway for 2026.

Silver-coated leather covers the sneaker-loafer, accompanied by equally shined-up mudguards and branded details. At the same time, a chunky, black sole unit offers glimpses at the Nike Air cushioning technology, ensuring a comfy ride.

It practically evokes the feels of the classic "Silver Bullet" Air Max 97, if it went formalwear. After all, the Phenomena is an Air Max model. All that's missing is the color scheme's red accents.

The "Wolf Grey" iteration is now up for grabs on Nike China's website for ¥1,099, which is roughly $160. Hopefully, the loafers will get a wider release soon.

Nike has already restocked some of the model's debut colorways, including the all-black and burgundy pairs. And now, it's bringing fresh flavors to the menu.

It's also worth mentioning that SWDC is already seemingly working on its next collection, having recently revealed an impressively textural Cortez sneaker.

After the Phenomena sneaker-loafer, who knows what'll come next from the collective? An Air Max sandal with a twist, perhaps?
