Key Features: Both the tooling and the upper of the Air Max Zoom 950 take inspiration from the Nike Air Max 95, a sneaker that has enjoyed huge success in Japan since its release. The upper is made of lightweight monomesh with a neoprene liner. The tooling features Zoom Air pods at the forefoot — as seen on Nike’s premiere running footwear — and a 270 Air unit at the heel. Together, the Air units remind strongly of the Air Max 95’s iconic chunky sole.

Editor’s Notes: Nike is gearing up to drop an all-new silhouette, dubbed the Air Max Zoom 950. The sneaker takes clear inspiration from the Nike Air Max 95, and is an example of how brands should be revamping their classics by injecting new technology but keeping the overall aesthetic and design true to the original.
