Although releasing for the first time on December 16, the Nike Dunk Low Goldenrod might look familiar. The two-tone colorway nods to the origins of the silhouette, reviving one of the first Nike Dunk Low colorways that debuted in 1985 as part of the Be True To Your School collection. These varsity colorways have been the inspiration of many modern iterations, but few look as great as the yellow & black leather outfit of the Goldenrod.
Originally paying homage to Iowa, the Nike Dunk Low Goldenrod looks to classic black leather uppers highlighted by golden yellow overlays. Turning the clock back, the Swoosh opts for classic Nike branding to the tongue label and heel tab to max out the retro feel.
