Nike has launched its new Line Checkout feature to coincide with the Air Jordan 19 "Flint" drop today. With limited sneaker drops proving stressful and frustrating for consumers and brands alike, as overloaded servers and high demand cause technical difficulties, Nike has developed several different shopping methods over the years.

Until recently, the most popular sneaker-copping method via Nike was through “The Draw” raffle system on the SNKRS app or landing page.

Now, Nike has launched a revised first-come, first-served process in the shape of Line Checkout. The new method is only available to NikePlus members who have confirmed payment and shipping information.

Consumers “get in line” once a product is live and, if their turn comes up before the item sells out, they are then allowed to complete the checkout process. This looks to be a revised method of how releases on Nike’s website used to go down and how adidas does it for YEEZY releases, with sneakerheads put into a digital line until they are let through to the landing page.

The first Line Checkout release starts today, January 5 at 10am EST. You can cop the “Flint” Air Jordan 19 here.

Let us know if you try out the new checkout method and give your thoughts in the comments below.
