Nike's Shox Z sneaker is already one of the more classy (if not the classiest) members of the Shox family. Now, it's even fancier, thanks to a new-year makeover.

Nike has designed a new version of the Shox Z for the Year of the Horse, featuring fully embellished uppers adorned with shimmering rhinestones and lustrous pearls.

The entire sneaker arrives in a classic black colorway, with the model basically getting its own elegant, ornate Chanel suit.

Again, the Shox Z is already kind of dressy, Martine Rose-coded even. It offers a refined, slimmed-out look that pushes the model toward the formal-shoe realm. Of course, it's complete with the iconic Shox tubes in the heel, staying true to the line's signature visible tech look. It provides a nice, cushy lift, too.

The Shox Z has appeared in several nice color schemes since its debut, even some iconic colorways. But this is the best the model has looked thus far.
