Double Tap to Zoom
Nike
1 / 2

When Nike gets the taste for something, it goes all out on serving a feast. We've seen it countless times, most infamously with the Dunk Low over the course of the last couple of years, leading to a string of unshakeable restocks that will go down in sneaker history.

While the infamy of the "Panda" Dunk lives on, the Swoosh is busy etching out another high-frequency release legacy for another of its easy-wearing, cult-beloved sneaker silhouettes – the Samuel Ross-approved Zoom Vomero 5.

Although enjoying a period drenched in the spotlight afforded to general releases, the Zoom Vomero 5's cult success is undoubtedly attested to A-COLD-WALL byways of Samuel Ross, thanks to the four iterations he was responsible for.

Where ACW's attention has been diverted to the UK's adored Tns (Air Max Plus), Nike has comfortably settled back into making the Zoom Vomero 5 a top priority within its monthly release schedule.

Releases throughout the year so far have been as regular as clockwork, with countless new colorways appearing only every other week. From strokes of blue to Dunk-inspired overlays, brown, yellow, and red, this sneaker is enjoying its renaissance.

Now, perfectly timed for the arrival of summer, the shoe's undergone yet another makeover.

Kicking the metal-ready "Triple Black" fixture to the mud, this look triple doses on pink ("Triple Pink," naturally) for a finish that is difficult to beat. It might not be a sneaker of the year contender, but it's certainly worth throwing into roration when it touches down on July 1.
