Even the best of us occasionally struggle with rap lyrics. Or, you might even know songs word-for-word and still not really get them. Well, Jimmy Kimmel Live! has a fix for this with the segment "New Lyrics for Old People." This week, Offset and Cardi B stopped by the show to help Kimmel decipher the "lingo" on their hit song "Clout."

The couple rapped "Clout" accapella with brief intermissions for Kimmel to translate. “Straight out the streets to a penthouse, Miami beach,” Offset started. And the Jimmy translation? “I came from humble beginnings but now I own a condominium in Florida.”

Jimmy successfully deciphers the meaning behind the song, explaining to the audience, “What we’ve learnt here is that there are a lot of people really trying to take some of your fame by taking shots at you and you guys have had enough of it.” Or as Offset puts it: "They do anything for clout."
