Layering isn't dead. It's alive and well at Paris Fashion Week. On the runways, labels like Lemaire and AURALEE delivered masterclasses in wearing multiple pieces simultaneously. Meanwhile, the streets, another catwalk in itself, perfected the art of staying warm and looking good by piling on clothes.

One jacket wasn't enough for the chilly, messy weather in Paris. Try three, that's if you're able to keep up with the effortless steez of the Parisian fashion crowd.

Guests went either full outdoor bro or formal fashion girly, topping on their quality outerwear and cozy knits, according to their chosen aesthetic. Or, in some cases, there was a mix of function and sophistication, as classic suit-and-tie moments paired with practical parkas for surprisingly stylish looks.

The Paris flock finished their layered looks with statement pieces like classic Hermès bags ("Wirkins" too, maybe?), bug-eye sunglasses, and more silly headwear. Put it all together, and you have a solid outfit, ladies and gentlemen.

It's more like multiple 'fits, really.

That's the beautiful thing about layering. Each layer is like getting a new look, peeling back that smooth wool coat to the get to the delicious Canadian tuxedo in the middle.

Layered dressing is a skill that requires a lot of commitment. For some, a rainy, cold day might bring out the IDGAF (I don't give a f...) layers, where warmth and dryness are key, and looking good is out of the question. But Paris Fashion Week goers actually GAF about layering.
