Paris Hilton, hotel heiress and Y2K icon, is officially a mom. The socialite has welcomed her first son with husband and venture capitalist Carter Reum.

On January 24, Hilton announced the news on Instagram with a close-up of her baby's tiny hand gripping her thumb. "You are already loved beyond words," the caption reads. No word yet on what she and Reum are planning to name the newborn, whom they had via surrogate.

The couple, who met in 2019 through mutual friends, got engaged in February 2021 and tied the knot later that year. Adding to Hilton's lengthy résumé of reality TV show appearances, her elaborate wedding was chronicled on Peacock series Paris in Love.

Hilton has always been open about her desire to have children. Shortly after marrying, she revealed that she couldn't wait to "start a family and kids," adding that she and Reum had been talking about starting a family "since the beginning — since the first couple, like, months of dating." Eventually, the pair shared that they had begun the in-vitro fertilization process.

On Instagram, Hilton's news was met with an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities: Naomi Campbell, Lindsay Lohan, and Kris Jenner are among those congratulated the socialite on her baby. Reum has yet to post on his own Instagram, though his last photo was uploaded back in October 2021.

Congratulations, Paris! You are now mother, both literally and figuratively.
