Louis Vuitton really is Pharrell. If that wasn't clear from the Timberland collab and adoption of Pharrell's friends, like Pusha T, as Louis Vuitton ambassadors, Pharrell's newest Louis Vuitton creation is undeniable proof.

See, two decades before Pharrell took over as Louis Vuitton's director of menswear, he partnered with the luxury label and perpetual pal NIGO to create the Louis Vuitton Millionaires sunglasses.

It was a wildly prescient partnership, and not just because they foretold the Pharrell's own fixation on luxe frames.

Pharrell knows this, which is why he's revived the aviator-style Millionaires sunglasses on their 20th anniversary, cementing his (literal) foresight with some precious eyewear.

If the Millionaires sunglasses look familiar, it might be because they released in an era where everything in luxury was big: big frames, big logos, big bling, big, big. But they also might look familiar because Pharrell hasn't taken them off for three months.

He wore them throughout Fashion Week, even, though his tiny $850k bag was kind of the main event.

That bag, by the way, is part of Pharrell's dedicated Millionaires line, a series of ultra-luxe bags exclusive to LV VIPs and Pharrell's posse. Just goes to show the influence of the original Millionaires.

And they live up to their name: the reborn Millionaires sunglasses are priced up to $2,100 on LV's website, with even the most affordable options weighing in close to $1,000.

They don't call 'em "Millionaires" for nothin.
