What We’re Saying: The PUMA Wild Rider is arriving in a range of new tonal colorways that add a pop of flavor to the brand’s premier silhouette. The three colorways are: dark blue with white detailing; mustard yellow with white detailing; and turqoise with green and white detailing.

The Wild Rider is PUMA’s latest lifestyle model, designed as a street equivalent to Puma’s Fast Rider, which was originally a performance shoe for urban runners. The Wild Rider‘s overall aesthetic heavily leans on ’70s footwear, featuring a relatively sleek upper and a waffle outsole reminiscent of early-days running shoes.

While the influences are clearly performance, the Wild Rider is a lifestyle shoe through and through. The clean colorways and brilliant use of mixed materials on the upper (who doesn’t like some hairy suede) make the Wild Rider “Vintage” pack a solid, albeit under-the-radar, pick up this summer.
