R. Kelly was arrested in Chicago on Thursday on a 13-count federal indictment, according to The New York Times. Assistant US attorney for the Northern District of Illinois Joseph Fitzpatrick said, “The counts include child porn, enticement of a minor, and obstruction of justice.”

Kelly already faces state charges of aggravated sexual assault and abuse in Chicago. In June, he pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault and abuse in Illinois' Cook County, the Associated Press reported.

According to The New York Times’ report, law enforcement sources say federal prosecutors in Brooklyn are expected to unveil a separate indictment today. Kelly is set to be arraigned in Chicago federal court but is expected to be moved to New York to face the charges.
