Double Tap to Zoom

Romeo Beckham, middle child of David and Victoria, has made his official magazine cover debut in a forthcoming spread for the February issue of L'Uomo Vogue.

Photographed by legendary duo Mert & Marcus, the shoot marks a next chapter for the eighteen-year-old whose modelling career was officially launched in 2014 in a Burberry Christmas campaign. The mood of the shoot recalls major ’00s vibes with platinum blond bangs, waistcoats, and um, the undeniable genetic code of Posh Spice around the face. Although Beckham is clearly channelling his mother's bone structure here, the shock of blonde hair recalls his father's game-changing meterosexual ’90s style.

Beckham graces the cover in a oversized Prada knit, gray sweatpants, and combat boots, along with the caption "Boys will be boys." Elsewhere, Beckham wears oversized leather shorts (layered with a tiger stripe long john) and comic book print pants from GCDS. In the final shots and accompanying video montage, Beckham confirms what we have been saying for a minute now, as he does justice to the crop top revival in a combination of red lace-up pants and the emotional blue twist top from British-Indian designer Supriya Lee's SS21 collection.

Of course, some will be quick to point out the obvious nepotism at play here, and to that point, they are already too late – this is for L'Uomo Vogue's "Generations" issue, after all.  The concept of famous people's children getting a free pass into the world of modelling is of course nothing new, and has been perpetuated from the recent success of the Hadid sisters, Kaia Gerber, and Lila Moss.
