These UNIMATIC Watches Are RUF Cars, For Your Wrist

Coming in two variants, RUF x Highsnobiety x UNIMATIC watches blend RUF's automotive legacy with UNIMATIC's talent for Italian industrial watch design to create head-turning pieces of wristwear.
On the surface, watches and motorsport may seem like two worlds miles apart. Nonetheless, they are inextricably linked through a bond brokered by the chronograph complication.
A complication featured in both of today's Modello Tre U3-RUF-G and Modello Tre U3-RUF-B watches, its stopwatch functionality was used to measure the lap times of significant racing events from the Daytona Speedway to Le Mans — recording some of the fastest moments we've come to celebrate in racing.
This symbiotic relationship has fueled innovation on both sides of the track, leading to the engineering of top-performing vehicles and exceptional timepieces.
This all comes to a head in our watch capsule collection, with the Bavaria-based RUF crafting some of the fastest Porsches the automotive world has seen.
Aside from the chronograph functionality, RUF x Highsnobiety x UNIMATIC watches boast a 300M diving-grade water resistance and come in a 40mm stainless steel case that hosts a meca-quartz caliber movement.
UNIMATIC's beloved industrial design makes an appearance boasting some of the brand's favorite signatures, like its industrial minimal aesthetic, oversized chrono pushers, and, of course, the Super-LumiNova® lums for when your adventures extend into the night.
Where the watches start to differ is their colorways. The Modello Tre U3-RUF-G RUF has green accents on its cool gray dial and bezel, pairing beautifully with its included green nato strap.
The Modello Tre U3-RUF-B comes with a black diamond-like carbon brushed finish with RUF yellow highlights on its matte black dial and bezel, with the design tying in nicely with its black nato strap.
Crafted in Italy, both chrono divers will be limited to 100 pieces worldwide, with each watch individually numbered. These highly collectible watches will be available via the Highsnobiety Shop on August 22 with exclusive early access available on the Highsnobiety iOS app.
