Yesterday, Apple held its annual keynote presentation at the Steve Jobs theatre in Cupertino, California, where they unveiled new products and innovations like the iPhone 11 Pro and Apple Watch Series 5.

On-foot looks at Apple's keynote presentations were at their very best during the era of Steve Jobs, who made it his mantra to rock black turtuenecks, light denim, and grey New Balance sneakers, specifically those from the 990 range. Jobs faithfully wore New Balances during many keynote presentations, in addition to the cover of Time, and in more than one of Apple's product advertisements. However, Jobs' instantly recognizable style only supplemented his reputation as a visionary genius who changed contemporary culture, known for captivating audiences with his signature cliffhanger, "One more thing..."

Many of the 2019 keynote presenters came correct in Swoosh sneakers, including CEO Tim Cook who laced up a pair of Nike Epic React Flyknits, and vice president of manufacturing design Stan Ng who opted for the Nike Joyride Flyknit Racer. This was mostly expected due to the ongoing partnership between Apple and Nike, and even Jobs himself reverted to Swoosh sneakers when Nike CEO Mark Parker joined him on stage in 2006 for the announcement of Nike + iPod.

Honorable mention also goes to Apple director of app design Wyatt Mitchell, who went viral after rocking a crisp white jumpsuit and OFF-WHITE x Converse Chucks at an Apple event in March.
