SYKY, a luxury "phygital" fashion platform, is bringing the future of fashion to Apple Vision Pro.

Founded by Alice Delahunt, SYKY launched in 2023 with the goal of fostering emerging digital designers by providing them with a platform to sell their work, connect with other creatives, and receive mentorship from established industry leaders.

Since its debut, SYKY (pronounced "sy-kee") has recruited a robust community of rising stars like Kay Kwok, Pet Liger, and Aurora Achille.

SYKY members receive early access to digital wearables from these designers, as well as educational workshops, invitations to IRL events, and exclusive research and insights.

Through SYKY's newly unveiled Apple Vision Pro app — which is open to anyone, not just members — visitors can also participate in immersive, digital fashion experiences that, as Delahunt puts it, "transport consumers to the front row of the fashion industry."

To kick things off, SYKY has partnered with Anrealage, the Tokyo-based label founded by Kunihiko Morinaga in 2003. For SYKY's Apple Vision Pro debut, Morinaga created The Pyramid Dress, a color-changing garment inspired by a bespoke Anrealage gown worn by Beyoncé on her Renaissance tour.

Through SYKY's Apple Vision Pro app, visitors can interact with the garment and learn more about its design process. "They are also invited to go behind the scenes with Morinaga-san to hear more about his craft, the collaboration, and the future of fashion in his own words," a press release states.

This debut showcase opens the door to endless possibilities. Brands that may not have the means to put on a physical runway show can do so in SYKY's Apple Vision Pro app. And customers who don't have access to Fashion Week can experience them from the comfort of their own home.

"Fashion shows, which once required extensive travel and the experience of purchasing clothes from stores, can now be accessed simply by putting on a device in your own room," Morinaga says. "All the constraints of reality are removed allowing one to freely experience the extraordinariness of fashion from their own room or daily life."
