After cancelling some of her recent performances on the TDE Championship Tour earlier this month, it looks like SZA's vocal chords are on the mend. On Sunday, June 18, the singer tweeted that she would be performing her scheduled slot at Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware. “I’m blessed to say my voice is not permanently damaged and i’ve been working daily to get back,” she shared, thanking the medical teams who helped her.

SZA initially wrote that she might have permanent vocal chord damage in a series of now-deleted tweets. Shortly after, TDE head honcho Top Dawg reassured us that she'd be fine, writing, “I will get her with the best doctors.” Earlier this month, SZA was inducted into Columbia High School’s hall of fame, where she performed “The Weekend” for students.
