Tame Impala Commits to Eco-Friendly 'Slow Rush' Tour Initiative

Tame Impala have teamed up with nonprofit REVERB to reduce environmental waste while on tour to promote their new album, The Slow Rush.

The band's green efforts include donating unused catering food and hotel toiletries to local shelters, utilizing reusable water bottles and insulated mugs for band and crew, and going for eco-friendly cleaning products. Fans can also donate to get a custom Nalgene bottle (below).

Tour stops will also include an Eco-Village, where fans can find out more about REVERB’s unCHANGEit campaign with Defend Our Future and reduce waste by filling up their bottles at the free filtered water refill station. Eco-friendly guitar picks are also given out to those who participate in the activities.

The band's next show is at Foro Sol in Mexico City on March 19 with MGMT.
