The Weeknd has given fans a first look at next week's American Dad! episode– which he co-wrote with Robot Chicken producer Joel Hurwitz.

On May 4, the three-time Grammy-winning singer will appear as an animated version of himself on Seth MacFarlane's long-running cartoon.

Earlier this month the Canadian singer took to Instagram to post a picture with Hurwitz announcing, "Me and this guy wrote an episode of American Dad," before revealing that he will also be voicing a character that he somewhat resembles.

And that's not all, Deadline has reported that the episode will also feature a new original song by the 30-year-old musician.

News of The Weeknd's involvement in American Dad! comes as he just released his fourth studio album, After Hours. He also recently made his feature film debut in the Safdie brothers' Uncut Gems.

You can catch The Weeknd's episode of American Dad! on May 4.
