Trump's trade war took a surreal turn when the world learnt that the US Department of Agriculture officially removed Wakanda from its list of trading partners, which had us wondering: Wakanda mistake was that?

According to the BBC, the unusual listing was spotted by Francis Tseng, a New York-based software engineer who was looking up agricultural tariffs. The department's online tariff tracker also showed a detailed list of goods the two nations apparently traded, including ducks, donkeys and dairy cows.

The fictional country was removed soon after the blunder was made public, but the damage had already been done. As the mightiest country in the world severed its diplomatic relations with the fictional kingdom of Wakanda, Twitter users mocked the US government's spectacular fail. So of course we had to mark the occasion with another roundup of Twitter's funniest and most savage responses.
