A classic Vans skate shoe has gone Chanel again. Except instead of taking inspiration from a Chanel bag, Vans' Old Skool is wearing a Chanel jacket.

The skate-sneaker brand has released a pink premium Old Skool sneaker featuring a multicolored tweed upper, smooth suede toe box, and crisp white leather Jazz Stripe.

Obviously, this is not a Chanel collaboration but you can't deny that this is one Chanel-coded Old Skool sneaker.

Whereas an ultra-rare Chanel messenger bag inspired a previous effort, the latest Vans shoes channel the energy of the luxury brand's iconic tweed pieces.

This is gonna be a hot one, given that the brand's Chanel-inspired Old Skool "Souvenir" sneaker sold out in the blink of an eye last month.

And why not? you combine an incredibly wearable classic skate shoe with a touch of luxury and you end up with one hot shoe.

There will even be another chance to cop the Chanel bag-flavored Vans sneakers when the second colorway arrives later this year, though this second colorway isn't quite as deliciously textural as its predecessor.

They are both quite luxe compared to conventional Vans shoes, at least.

And, hey, we have this pretty pink tweed "Chanel" Vans shoe in the meantime. Well, for now.

The tweed Old Skool sneaker is currently up for grabs on BSTN and Vans' websites for $100.
