Vollebak

Vollebak, a brand known for going all-out to create products strong enough to withstand whatever mother nature throws at them, unveiled its 100 Year Jacket before Christmas. In January, it was made available to the public and the brand promises it’s the toughest jacket on the market.

The brand claims that, “instead of compromising on either waterproofness, toughness or breathability as every other jacket has to, the 100 Year Jacket hits the highest standards in the holy trinity of waterproofness, abrasion resistance and breathability.”

The jacket, which retails at $895, is made using a material that was originally designed to handle torrential rain while racing a motorbike. To put into context just how waterproof this jacket is, its waterproof rating is 43,000mm, which is 1.5x higher than GORE.
