Willow Smith will be spending the next 24 hours inside a glass box because art. In a new interview with Los Angeles Times, the 19-year-old explained the move is part of a performance piece for the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary in Los Angeles. The free showcase will start at 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 11.

In the interview, she opened up about her struggles with anxiety, which is the central theme for the upcoming exhibition. She plans to spend three hours exploring various emotional states including paranoia, rage, sadness, numbness, euphoria, strong interest, compassion, and acceptance.

Smith won't have to go through it alone, though — she will be joined by her creative collaborator and rumored boyfriend Tyler Cole. They will be separated from visitors by a glass wall and the remaining three sides will be covered in canvases the duo can use to express themselves by either painting or writing.

"We might grunt or scream — it’s going to be very primal," Smith warned, adding "I’m doing this because I’m inspired by this idea and I see that anxiety around me is an epidemic and people don’t talk about it. And so as long as it’s bringing awareness and a positive light to the darkness, it doesn’t matter if you don’t enjoy it.”
