After he was arrested on suspicion of robbery charges early Friday morning, the Shade Room reports that YG has been released from jail on a $250,000 bond.

The Compton rapper is scheduled to perform at the Grammys tonight, however, after his arrest on Friday, his ability to perform was brought into question.

YG was apparently arrested around 4 am on Friday after deputies served a search warrant at his home. This was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in a statement.

YG’s attorney spoke to NBC Los Angeles and said that the arrest was a complete shock and that YG “was completely caught off-guard.”

“He's an individual who doesn't understand what they're talking about, up to the point where he thinks they have the wrong person,” the attorney continued before saying that he fully expected YG to perform at the Grammys barring any unforeseen circumstances.

YG is set to be arraigned on Tuesday, and it is unclear whether or not he will still perform in honor of Nipsey Hussle at the Grammy’s tonight.
