Zion Williamson made his long-awaited NBA debut for the New Orleans Pelicans against the San Antonio Spurs last night. Last year’s number 1 draft pick had been out injured since the summer and hype had been building for what many consider to be the most exciting player to enter the league in quite some time.

Limited to just 18 minutes, Williamson finished with 22 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, shooting 8/11 from the field and 4/4 from three. His performance included scoring 17 straight points in the fourth quarter as the phenom reminded everyone why he was the consensus number one pick last year.

In addition to wowing the crowd with his incredibly efficient performance, Williamson also made waves with his choice of footwear, gracing the court in “Bayou Boys” Air Jordan 34 PEs. The sneaker is inspired by New Orleans and has metallic and alligator accents. Take a closer look below.
