Double Tap to Zoom

The simplicity of the adidas Japan is the best part about the sneaker. It doesn't have to do much to a good shoe, and adidas knows that.

The latest version is different from previous Japan sneakers. The sportswear brand seemingly took the model back to the bare basics, stripping it of its structure and reducing its signature details for an even easier, more minimalist Japan.

It's sort of like the Japan Decon but better.

The traditional T-toe is extra simplified, but still flaunts its signature double stitching. The already slender model is even skinner now.

At the same time, the Japan has earned a heel pull tab, giving it an easy slip-on sensibility, similar to the Brain Dead collab (hold the flames, though).

This adidas Japan is the kind of fashion flex that requires little to no effort, the quietly luxe sneaker that gives just enough.

The newest Japan comes in classic black and white colorways, both of which are now available on the brand's website for $130.
