Android users might finally be getting their own version of AirDrop, as Google is teasing a new featured called "Fast Share." Fast Share will allow users to wirelessly share photos, texts, and other files between Android devices using Bluetooth.

According to 9to5Google, Fast Share does not require an internet connection, and screenshots suggest non-Android devices may be able to utilize the feature.

While multiple publications have already come across the Fast Share page, the feature is not currently available. Google has yet to officially announce the AirDrop-like update, which would be a huge addition to Android devices as seamless sharing is a considerably convenient way to deliver files.

In the past, Android Beam allowed user to share files with no data connection by simply touching two phones together. Google's recent Files app also serves as an AirDrop-esque file sharing option, but it is only accessible by app. Fast Share will reportedly be integrated into Android devices.
