Bvlgari Served Decadence for Dinner

On Wednesday night, Bvlgari brought a taste of Italy to NYC. Flatiron’s Borgo restaurant was converted into a candlelit lounge, where guests immersed themselves in the high jewelry purveyor’s style codes — celebrating a partnership between the House and Highsnobiety that brought Bvlgari’s aesthetic to life in print. Not only were attendees dazzling in elegant jewels, but the entire evening sparkled with nods to the Maison’s latest offerings.

Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety

Filing in through a “Bvlgari x Highsnobiety” draped facade, guests arrived in fashionable waves to kick off the dinner soiree. Upon entering the cozy restaurant, they were greeted with drinks and small bites reminiscent of an Italian aperitivo hour. Amidst friendly conversational buzz, musician Luna Li gently parted the noise with enchanting guitar riffs and soft, melodic lyrics. Within the salon’s cocktail room, each table was graced with touches of gold and steel — including Highsnobiety’s latest Spring issue, which comes encased in limited-edition, metal-inspired wrappings.

Toeing the line between heritage and modernity, Bvlgari recently introduced the return of Gold and Steel — a poised expression of duality. Through this unveiling, the Maison experiments with a delicate interplay of softness and temerity, a balanced essence that carried over into its partnership with Highsnobiety. The newly-launched issue, featuring Kaytranada as the cover star in the B.zero1 Gold & Steel ring, shows off a special, reflective Mirri wrapping — mimicking the shine of Bvlgari’s polished jewels. The issue debuted in April at Milan’s Salone del Mobile — but it only felt right to continue the party in NYC as well.

After social hour, guests, including musicians Isaiah Rashad and Justine Skye, tastemakers about town Chloe Wise and A$AP Nast, and Summer House’s Ciara Miller, were ushered into a moody dining room. Bvlgari honored its Roman roots by serving classic Italian dishes like pasta pomodoro and fresh focaccia, atop warm tablescapes infused with metal tones.

Dinner wrapped up with a sweet ending, as tiramisu made its rounds before guests caught one final performance by Li. As the night concluded, invitees were each granted parting gifts of the aforementioned Spring issue — a memento from an elegant night dripped in gold and steel.
