Yesterday, free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick held a private workout in Riverdale, Georgia. The session was attended by media, industry professionals and a number of NFL scouts and owners, to witness what is being described as NFL-caliber ability. Leading up to the workout, the athlete also showed off a reported new collaboration with Nike.

Before taking to the field and donning his Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro cleats, Kaepernick was seen sporting a mysterious pair of  Air Force 1 Lows. The black and white sneakers feature a gradient-faded Swoosh and icy translucent sole. Sole Collector reports that the shoes are an upcoming Kaepernick x Nike collaboration. Fellow NFL player and friend Eric Reid, who was in attendance, was also spotted wearing a pair. Check out a first glimpse of the exclusive AF1 below, pictured on the left.

In 2018, Nike famously unveiled Kaepernick as the face of its "Just Do It" campaign, as the brand built off the quarterback's activism and national anthem protests. These protests lead Kap to be blacklisting from the NFL and have kept him out of the league for over three years. However, Saturday's workout was indicative of his gradual return to the NFL.

While Kaepernick's rumored Nike collab is still not officially confirmed, Sole Collector indicates that we could see the official release of the AF1s as early as December.
