New Balance's 990 dad shoe really looks beautiful under the moonlight. More like the moonbeam.

The brand has sent a new "Moonbeam" pack to Earth, which includes two tasteful 990v4 Made in U.S.A. sneakers. And one of them is a "Cloud Blue" pair.

The bluest of the bunch features quality suede and mesh uppers in faded blue and light beige. On top of the classic 990 and U.S.A. branding, the sneaker also features the signature chunky soles, this time painted entirely in teal blue.

New Balance's blue pairs are joined by an orange pair called "Tangerine Heat." They're both scheduled to finally drop on New Balance's website on May 7 for $185.

It's always nice to see the New Balance 990v4 on the menu. The model often looks quite good, sometimes even good enough to eat. We've been met with quite a few delicious takes on the classic American dad shoe, including peachy pairs and matcha-flavored green versions.

Even the "Moonbeam" sneakers remind us of cotton candy, the blue kind, of course.

Call them lunar treats, even.
