New Balance's Kave sandal may look like a purely outdoor dude, but the summer dad shoe is actually designed for life beyond the wild.

According to New Balance, the Kave is made to go everywhere, whether that's exploring the trails or taking a casual stroll down the city block. Either way, it can handle pretty much whatever the day brings. It's an everyday kind of sandal.

The upper comes wrapped in classic mesh and leather layers, making things quite breathable and sturdy up top. Underfoot, the dad sandal features chunky soles that look quite comfy.

It's also worth mentioning that the soles have drainage holes, which come in handy for unexpected splashes. They basically help guide the water right out.

New Balance introduced the Kave model in 2025, right in the midst of a sneaker-sandal craze (it's honestly happening again for Summer 2026).

The Kave, an overseas exclusive model, is back for the warmer seasons, available in new stylish colorways like brown, black, and silver. As we speak, they're now available on New Balance Korea's website for around $100.
