The Year of the Snake is upon us. For those unaware, this pertains to the Chinese Lunar New Year, the calendar of which has determined that for 2025, we're going serpentine.

As has become somewhat of a tradition, Nike was quick to honor the occasion with a sneaker that does its inspiration justice. The Air Jordan 11 Retro 'LNY' are an intoxicatingly good take on the popular basketball shoe, with iridescent-like, scale-patterned panels to mimic the majestic reptile.

It's best you ssslither over to Nike quickly, as their AJ11 remakes tend to do particularly well with casual footwear fans and Michael Jordan devotees alike – think last year's viral 'Space Jam' drop.

Not keen on cobras? Maybe their woven Air Max 90s, or the Mocha Mousse-adjacent 'Golden Tickets' are more to your liking? They won't hurt you, I promise.

Know however, that the Year of the Snake brings personal growth and creativity – and who can really ever have enough of that, huh? Consider it a form of confrontational (retail) therapy.
