The Nike Air Max 90 lives out its days as the most trusted casual Air Max sneaker, crafted with immense comfort for running errands or just kicking it with the guys or gals. At night, Nike's Air Max classic is now embracing a new personality as the Swoosh's Batman.

After going "Tiffany" stealth, the Nike Air Max 90 slips into its Batman costume, appearing in the classic black and yellow (or "Buffed Gold," as Nike calls it) colors most commonly associated with DC Comics' Caped Crusader.

Like the "Tiffany" Air Maxes, the latest Air Max 90 gets an all-black sweep across the model's textural upper, featuring smooth fabrics, crisp leathers, and strong grid-patterned underlays. Nike then follows up with a few smatterings of gold-ish yellow hues, mostly hitting on the branding spots like the tongue and heel.

All in all, the so-called "Batman" Air Maxes are another clean take to add to the model's collection of effortlessly great colorways.

Nike's "Batman" sneakers also proves that the Dark Knight is very much a Nike sneakerhead. The two figures continue to cross paths despite not having officially collaborated. Although, a legit linkup would be nice.

For instance, Ben Affleck, a now-retired Batman, surprised us all with his incredible Nike sneaker collection worn during his Air movie promo. He even laced up in Nikes months after the film's run, including a highly appropriate pair of custom Dunkin' Donuts Nike Dunks.

Tim Burton's Batman, which was played by Michael Keaton, wore reworked Nike Air Trainer boots for the 1989 movie. Keaton's costume also followed the famous black and yellow color scheme, seen on the latest Nike Air Max 90s.

Nike has produced a few Batman-themed sneakers previously, like Air Max 95s and even another Air Max 90 in 2022 (Robin Pattinson made his Batman debut in the same year).

As with the many on-screen versions of the comic book character, it's time for yet another Nike sneaker to rise up and put on the cape. And this time, the Nike Air Max 90 answers the signal...again.
