That's a whole lot of red on Nike's latest Field General. No Playboi Carti needed.

And that's not a bad thing at all. The red isn't overpowering. It's pretty nice, especially when paired with the textured leather uppers.

Nike also throws in some white leather moments, knit Swooshes, and gilded branding, adding some tasteful contrast to the mostly red sneaker.

The results strike the perfect balance between bold and luxe. It's certainly one of the finer Field Generals to grace the sneaker 'net.

Nike's retro football sneaker made a comeback in 2024, thanks to a Union LA collaboration. The team-up really set the tone for the Field General's revival, making the model more casual. It's got the plenty of outfits to match its everyday, anywhere lifestyle, too.

We've seen other all-leather Field Generals and even luxurious hairy iterations, which feel more worthy of the catwalk than the streets. COMME des GARÇONS has even taken the model for a spin or two.

Nike's reborn Field General still clings to its sporty roots. It's just extra stylish now, basically.

Regarding the new "Team Crimson" pairs, Nike's red Field General is expected to drop on the brand's website sometime in 2026.
