Nike's Shox TL is already one of the brand's craziest sneakers, thanks to those freaky tubes pumping up the model. Its latest upgrade takes things up a notch.

Honestly, Nike sort of quiets down the bold design, re-crafting the Shox TL with a low-key zip-up mesh cover. It ultimately creates a more practical vibe similar to the Air Max 95 Zip and the more recent Air Max Dn Roam.

If we've learned anything from these techy models, it's that a zip-up jacket makes everything better.

In addition to becoming even more breathable, Nike's zippered Shox TL also features nice leather details and slicked-up Shox columns. The shoes also come in stylish black and white colorways for their debut.

Speaking of which, the wait is over for the new Shox TLs.

The zippered versions are now up for grabs on Nike Netherlands' website for €179.99, which is around $214 given current exchange rates.

It's unclear whether the Shox shoes will receive a wider launch. But hopefully so. Zippered sneakers this good deserve to be shared with the world.
