NOAH knows summer, as Brendon Babenzien's brand has demonstrated time and time again by way of its peerless basics and colorful seasonal shapes ideal for beachside (or poolside) hangs. That sun-drenched style comes back into the fore with NOAH's Spring/Summer 2021 adidas collaboration, imagining yielded another round of retro sportswear and sneakers. In particular, the duo is again delving into the adidas archive for throwback silhouettes, updated with NOAH's infatuation of the ocean.

Nautical flavor and workwear flair spice up the sportswear at the core of the capsule, serving navy hues and floral patterns alongside co-branded basics in neutral white. There's a clever cotton chore coat and matching Three-Striped painter pants that mesh adidas' signature trackie with NOAH's blue-collar inclinations, a terry hoodie that draws its navy hue from the watery depths, and flower accents blooming across a more conventional tracksuit, shorts, and cap.

Footwear is key to any adidas partnership, and NOAH is looking backward to go forward, as usual. On hand for SS21 are the adidas Probound and Rod Laver Super, remixed with asymmetric color-blocking and ocean vibes, like the logo-laden shell motifs that grace the Rod Laver's heel, for a subtle salute to the sea.

In fact, the Rod Laver employs a more minimal makeup throughout, sporting a white recycled plastic upper, yellow-tinged midsole, dark outsole, and green heel that let the vintage tennis silhouette speak for itself. The Probound, a forgotten basketball sneaker of yesteryear, has been reinvented with unevenly color-blocked panels between the left and right shoes, glistening with gold NOAH branding across one of the Three Stripes.

The entire collaborative lineup launches June 17 via NOAH's website, adidas' web store, and various stockists.
