After much anticipation, Virgil Abloh's Off-White™ x Nike Air Jordan 5 is finally dropping this weekend. Foot Locker, among other retailers, will be releasing the coveted sneaker online and in-store. Its "first come, first served" policy at Foot Locker in Chicago, however, currently has Twitter up in arms.

As per the tweet above, Chicagoans will be able to cop the hyped sneaker on a first-come, first-serve (FCFS) basis at the Foot Locker store located on South State Street. Chicago sneakerheads think that is less than a great idea, though, and have taken to Twitter to warn the retailer.

Some have replied to the announcement calling Foot Locker's policy a "bad choice" and "not a smart decision," telling the retailer they can "expect a riot" if this really happens. Meanwhile, others are taking things a bit more lightly, imagining people pulling up to the store in full-on army gear or black Nike Air Force 1s.
