Olivia Rodrigo stans are flooding Twitter with memes relating the near-impossible task of snagging tickets the SOUR tour, the artist's first major performance circuit.

Rodrigo, whose debut album SOUR clinched her designation as TIME Entertainer of the Year, announced the tour just four days ago. Since then, she's maintained her spot at the forefront of the news cycle with the debut of her first Tiny Desk Concert for NPR (filmed at the DMV, a clever nod to her viral single "Driver's License"), a Casetify collaboration, and the news of her three Apple Music awards.

As soon as tickets to the SOUR tour dropped, Rodrigo's fandom realized just how popular their favorite artist is.

According to Twitter, where Rodrigo is currently trending, over 44,000 hopeful attendees queued up on Ticketmaster for a shot at seeing the "Brutal" singer live.

In fact, some outlets reported that the sheer volume of users flooding Rodrigo's Ticketmaster page caused the site to crash.

It's worth noting that the venues Rodrigo will perform at — including New York's Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theater in Los Angeles — can't accommodate tens of thousands of people.

The realization that demand for tickets far outstrips capacity has led some fans to request that Rodrigo switch her performances to larger, arena-scale venues.

Sonically, 2021 was the year of Olivia Rodrigo.

With "Driver's License" and SOUR, the artist enchanted Millennials and Gen Z'ers alike with her ability to mine the past — specifically, the '90s and the early 2000s — in a way that looks and sounds entirely contemporary.

Kind of impressive, considering she's too young to have lived through either era.

Even plagiarism accusations weren't enough to stop her ascent, one that shows no signs of slowing.

If today's ticket debacle is any indicator, it's about to get even more brutal out there for Rodrigo fans.
