Following the success of Virgil Abloh‘s seven-part installation at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), the “Figures of Speech” survey exhibition will make its way to the High Museum in Atlanta.

The multi-hyphenate shared a poster of the forthcoming exhibition, care-of fashion photographer, Juergen Teller.

As with the Chicago showing, Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech” offers what the High Museum describes as an "unprecedented survey of Abloh’s creative work over nearly two decades and pulls back the curtain on his process." Atlanta audiences will gain access to prototypes alongside finished artworks, product designs, and fashion to reveal his myriad inspirations—from centuries-old paintings to commonplace construction signs.

Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech” opens at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta November 12, 2019, and runs until March 8 before traveling to the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, July 1–October 12, 2020.  In the meantime, read what went down at the Chicago opening earlier this year.
