YBN Cordae has been arrested for participating in a peaceful protest surrounding the murder of Breonna Taylor. The North Carolina-born rapper was among more than 100 protestors gathered on Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron's front lawn on Tuesday, July 14, demanding the police officers responsible for killing Taylor be arrested.

Cordae and other participants, including fellow rappers Trae tha Truth and Mysonne, were arrested after refusing to leave the property once Cameron asked law enforcement to remove protestors. According to XXL and confirmed by the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections, Cordae was charged with intimidating a participant in legal process, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespassing.

Breonna Taylor, age 26, was murdered by three Louisville Metro Police Department officers on March 13 after law enforcement served a no-knock search warrant as a part of a narcotics investigation. While YBN Cordae and many others have been arrested at various protests following the horrific murder, the police officers responsible for killing Taylor remain free.

Many have taken to Twitter to show support for Cordae, calling for him to be freed and demanding justice for Breonna Taylor.

You can get involved in the fight to have Taylor's murderers arrested by contacting officials including Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer and the Louisville MPD; signing petitions like Color of Change – #JusticeforBre, Fight for Breonna, and Change.org – Justice for Breonna; and donating to Taylor’s family and Louisville bail funds.
