adidas’ Handsome Outdoor Boots Can Genuinely Weather the Storm
It's that time of year again. adidas has revealed its Fall/Winter 2026 SPZL lineup, which includes a handsome winter boot called the Wetherlam.
It's funny because the Wetherlam SPZL is built for all-weather conditions. It features adidas' Aditex technology, which makes the shoe waterproof and breathable. It's essentially the Three Stripes version of GORE-TEX.
Think of the Wetherlam as you would the Winterhill, Grisedale SPZL boots, or even the Helvellyn SPZL. It's a nice outdoor boot that looks just as good on the streets. It marries a general hiking-coded design, including rugged chunky soles, with stylish suede and clean colorways. For instance, this first pair comes in "Sand Green," creating a cool green-and-brown Wetherlam that'll likely pass the vibe check anywhere.
Again, the Wetherlam is part of the brand's FW26 SPZL collection, which also includes a Samba-style Hawaii shoe, Boston II Outdoor, Albrecht II, and Halewood SPZL models. Basically, adidas fans will be well fed with several good-looking SPZL sneakers.
adidas' Wetherlam looks to kick off the rollout. The "Sand Green" pairs are scheduled to drop on November 6 on Oneness Boutique's website for $180.
