Nike's UGG-Coded Slipper Boot Is the Coziest Recovery Flex
Nike's "UGG" era is here. And admittedly, it's looking pretty good.
Earlier this month, the brand revealed its all-new 24.7 boot, a cozy ankle boot designed for post-performance recovery. It features matte leather uppers, this interesting rippled heel detail, and ample cushioning all around. It was like the famous UGG boot gone Swoosh mode (with a dash of Air Yeezy seasoning).
It's not a collaboration with Ye or the California brand. Nike made these all on its own. And there have been some divisive opinions on the all-new Swoosh model, but I think they're pretty awesome.
For one, they look good. Nike's launching the 24.7 boot in classic colorways, including a chestnut-style "Dark Driftwood" option and "Pale Ivory." Most recently, the brand revealed an all-black 24.7 boot, which is honestly the perfect daily winter shoe.
They also look extremely comfy. Like the other 24.7 models, the boot packs plenty of plush details like foam soles, bouncy outsoles, and generous padding elsewhere.
Let's be real: Nike makes great recovery shoes, as evidenced by the viral Mind models and Reactx Rejuven8 slip-ons. The 24.7 is another hit for the collection.
I mean, Nike's UGG-flavored boots have already been released and sold out overseas. We can expect more sellouts and Ls when they hit Nike's US website in November.
May the Swoosh gods be on your side on launch day.
